This afternoon was held the First Meeting of drum and bugle bands Archena villa in this location.

It has been organized by the Band of Bugles and Drums of the Sma.Cruz of Mirrors and the Band of Bugles, Drums and Bagpipes OJE, both of Murcia, and with the assistance of the City of Archena and Guilds Higher Cabildo this same location.

Participated apart from these two local bands, the Bugle and Drum Virgen de los Dolores de Ricote and Bugle and Drum Alguazas Virgen del Carmen.

All bands have previously made a street parade from St. John the Baptist Parish to the movie theater in the garden of Villa Rias, where took place the meeting itself.

It has become a symbolic $ 2, so that raising it was intended to help the local board of the Spanish Association Against Cancer.

The event was presented by the President of the Superior City Council of Guilds D.

Juan Pio Abenza, and it has been attended among others by the Councillor for Youth City Council Archena D.

Mario Alcaraz, Vice-President of the Superior City Council of Guilds D.

Jesus Torrano, President of the Confraternity of the Holy Cross of Mirrors D.

Francisco Gomez, councilors of the Socialist Group Archena City Council and the President of the local board of the Spanish Association Against Cancer Ms. Rosario Nieto.

The public attendance was massive crowding the room and taking much of the public standing by failing and chairs for everyone.

At the end of the performances have given plates appreciation for the assistance to the participating bands, thanking a special way to D.

Torrecillas Julian (director of the Band of the Blessed. Cross of Mirrors) their hard work in organizing and conducting this event.

The final touch was the delivery by the municipal councilor in Archena D.

Mario Alcaraz Ms. Rosario Nieto (Chairman of the local board of the Spanish Association Against Cancer) of a check for the amount of revenue, totaling 1,612 euros to help fight this disease.
