The Mayor of Murcia, Patricia Fernandez, and Councilman Social Promotion, Francisco Perez have closed this morning the IX Conference on Disability Murcia, with the unveiling of a sculpture in the square May 1 local delivery and Reward Art Contest III, Mental Health and Disabilities.
Also attended to the students Archena Occupational Center, members of the Association centers Alfa, and Aideman Churra.
In addition, college students and IES Micaela Pedro Sanz Guillen, participants in this conference, were also in the acts.
Following the inauguration of the sculpture, made by the students of Murcia, all participants in the wind released hundreds of balloons in the same place mentioned above.
To the Mayor, "with these days we wanted to continue making progress on improving the care and development of disabled people and our region Archena."
The theme of this conference, which began on December 4, has been 'Building footprints', thereby pretending to give all the importance of valuing what is what most characterizes the development, progress and human communication and is the trace that we leave on others and they leave each other in and between all the tracks we leave behind in society.

The vast majority of the work done by both students Archena occupational center as students of other participating centers have focused on drawing, constructing or installing the shape of a handprint or foot in its different dimensions in each one of the events organized.
In total there were over a dozen acts, from lectures, debates, exhibitions of work, creative artistic encounters, citizen participation, works of sculpture and painting and body expression, among others.
