The Mayor of Murcia, Patricia Fernandez, proceed to read the Manifesto Institutional gender violence in the front door of the City of Murcia, in Spain Square, at 13.00 hours, Friday morning, on the occasion of the celebration that day the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women.
Then, the participants observed a minute's silence for the victims of male violence.
This is one of the main events within the program that the Department of Equal Opportunity has organized this week in commemoration of this day and claimed.
On Sunday, November 27 there will be a solidarity march against Gender Violence, Cancer and the Traffic Accident Victims from the Square May 1, in the morning.
This evening will be held at the Center for Women, a film club, with a screening of 'Take My Eyes' by Iciar Bollain.
On Monday, in this same program, also held a talk on 'How to educate equality'.
