Neither major sporting events on Sunday evening and the strong gusty winds that occurred in the afternoon a year prevented hundreds of algaideros, following this tradition almost a century in the festivity, accompanied the patron, the Virgen del Rosario, His procession for almost the entire population of this parish.
Three hours of parade which resulted in cheers and applause very emotional standing for the Queen of the algae and a group of anderes of the Brotherhood of Our Lady of the Rosary leading to the throne at all times with wisdom and solemnity.
The procession was led by Mayor Patricia Fernandez and accompanied by the village headman and Alderman of the City of Murcia, Andrew Moon, the preacher and substitute magistrate, José Martínez Pérez, and a representation of the local police and members of the algaidera Neighborhood Board.
The procession also was entertained by the Band of Santa Cecilia in Archena.
