The Mayor of Murcia, Patricia Fernandez, Councillors of the government team, and workers and officials have honored Archena City Council this afternoon which was for 16 years secretary of the mayor and almost 50 years archenero city official, Maria Jesús Martínez Vidal , who retires today as workers.
In a ceremony held in the reception room of their own mayor, peers, elected officials and the first municipal authority have given a great bouquet of flowers and a few days will hold a farewell dinner.
Maria Jesus Vidal was secretary to the former Mayor Manuel Cervantes Sánchez Marcos for 16 years and a few months of the current Mayor Patricia Fernandez.
He was formerly responsible for municipal sections of Treasury and General Registration.
It is part of the municipal staff from 49 years ago and was the first woman who worked in the Consistory archenero and probably also the first woman working, officially, throughout the municipality.
