Archena Township has obtained the 'A' Excellent Thermal Village, the highest distinction granted by the Local Government section with Mineral and Thermal Waters of the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP).
Archena Mayor, Manuel Marcos Sánchez Cervantes, who is also senior vice president of the Executive Committee of this section of the FEMP, attended the last meeting held in Madrid on that committee and received the technical report that have been developed pursuant to criteria and outcomes in the process of implementing the quality standards of spa towns.
