About 700 students from six schools participated Archena public for nearly two weeks (from 8 to 23 March) in various educational activities on road safety education, delivered by the local police Archena, in coordination with the Department of Education of the City of Archena, and led by Corporal Jose Velasco, head of the area.
In particular, this course was a program designed for students in years 3, 4 and Primary 5.
As reported by Velasco himself, the contents of the classes were primarily based on a theoretical talk about standards and behavior in traffic, safety, respect for other road users, the importance of knowing and obeying the signals traffic and in particular, took effect in cycling, both in urban and interurban road, as this is the vehicle commonly used by students for their travel and entertainment.

The contents of the classes have tried to develop in students the sense of responsibility referred to his driving, so along with the analysis of these traffic rules in the Rules of the road, have exposed other issues relevant to a better understanding the vehicle, its physical principles and its possibilities and limitations.
On the other hand, students were exposed to the Action Protocol and how to behave before a traffic accident.
Finally, also held in all schools, a symposium where students submitted their questions and concerns to local police about road safety.
Note that in each school where he has taught 'Driver Education' has involved the Police Tutor assigned to it, making a presentation of the figure of Police Tutor and becoming known to the students.
