200 people in a natural setting of about 2,000 square meters in the Rías Villa Park, recreated for today and tomorrow with biblical scenes and costumes of the time the traditional Christmas Nativity.
Archena Mayor, Manuel Marcos Sánchez Cervantes, the local parish priests and several Councillors of the government team inaugurated this morning the Living Nativity this year celebrates its fifth edition.
Specifically, 12 represent biblical scenes, in which we see 'in situ' more traditional trades of the period (spinners, bakers, blacksmiths, traditional slaughter, etc).
Living Nativity In addition this will one more year with the presence of live animals as totally typical oxen, horses, camels, pigs and sheep, among others.
The schedule to see this Archena Living Nativity will be on Saturday 18 and Sunday 19, from 11:00 to 14:00 and 15:30 to 20:30.
The Living Nativity is organized every year and install the Andalusian Association of Archena Rociera Aires and has the support of the Culture Department of the City of Archena.
