The Civil Guard has developed over the last month operation to combat "piracy", which has led to the arrest of six people suspected of intellectual property crime.
In the 6 inspections in public establishments in the town of Archena were detected 5 intellectual property crimes, by the seizure of large amounts of hardware (hard drives) and allegedly illegal software programs from a known company in the computer industry.
It has also initiated the procedure for administrative offenses by 27 different concepts of services provided to citizens.
Civil Guard officers as part of a police operation set against "piracy" have developed a series of inspections of public establishments in the town of Archena, most booths, in order to check the documents relating to various subjects in these premises.
In five of the premises inspected were found irregularities related to intellectual property, being in the public use computers with factory-installed software allegedly illegal or "pirate", ie operating systems and application programs without a license, making the arrest the perpetrators of the establishments on suspicion of intellectual property crime.
As part of this operation is detected administrative violations related to the services of local citizens as, lack of complaint forms and the poster for their existence, lack of official card food handler, no public display and obviously the relationship of prices and tariffs, not having the sign prohibiting the sale of alcoholic beverages to persons under 18 years and the sale of alcoholic beverages without authorization, among others, so that 27 complaints were made for administrative infractions.
