The Minister of Education, Training and Employment, Sotoca Constantine, accompanied by the mayor of Archena, Marcos Manuel Sanchez, opened the Workshop on Employment 'chaplaincy' which consisted of 24 unemployed people of the locality, in the fields of masonry and restoration urban areas and has involved an investment of 518,000 euros.
Sotoca said that such initiatives "are essential in times of crisis, where we should go for projects and activities that improve the employability of the unemployed," and noted that these workshops allow the unemployed to learn a trade, while performing productive work in works of general interest and social.
These students will work on improving municipal nursery, gardens of the Rotunda Chaplaincy of Guerrero Iberian or the Garden of Polvorines.
Also, the counselor Sotoca visited classrooms where 27 unemployed enrolled in various programs Initial Vocational Training in Agricultural and professional families of Administration and Management, in which the Ministry has spent over 86,000 euros.
Programs, according to the counselor, "represent future opportunities for the unemployed, which will open new doors and educational work, either to find employment or access to vocational courses."
In Minister recalled the efforts being undertaken by the regional government to boost employment in the local and said that the Ministry has invested this year in the municipality of 1.2 million euros Archena in various training programs and employment.
