The general director of Women and Equality of Opportunities, Alicia Barquero, together with the Councilor for Women of the Municipality of Archena, Mari Carmen Alcolea, today inaugurated the socio-sanitary seminar on coordination in the area of ​​Gender Violence, specialized in the Area of Mental health.
This is the fifth seminar held in the six planned for health professionals responsible for gender violence to prevent and improve care for victims.
Each seminar has a specialized part in which specific issues are addressed to develop the skills of detection, management and coordination of cases in one of the following areas: Gynecology, held in Lorca;
Pediatrics, in Yecla;
Mental Health, in Archena;
and Urgencias, in Caravaca de la Cruz, scheduled for next November 10th.
Regarding Primary Care Social Services has had two monographic seminars, those held in San Javier and Sewer.
Today Archena has had the presentations and case studies of the technicians of the General Directorate for Women and Equal Opportunities, the Ministry of Health, Municipal Social Services and technical CAVI.
These days are focused on professional practice, counting for it for personnel of direct health care, social services and gender violence.
