On the 30th, the citizens of Archena are summoned by the Mayor to an act of exaltation of the "unity of Spain", with hoisting of flag, band of music and proposal to fill Spanish banners with our balconies.
From Ganar Archena we understand that in this moment of growing tension, we need firefighters, not pyromaniacs.
For our municipal group is time to build bridges and not walls, we will go to the demonstration of Murcia by the Underground and against the division that the AVE wall will bring to our capital, there we wait for our neighbors.
Independence nationalism is not solved by a Spanish nationalism.
We need people and leaders with a spirit of reconciliation, who take into account the whole of Catalan society, without confusing the whole with the part;
that is to say, with acts like the one intended, Catalan society is treated as if all its citizens were independentistas and, at the same time, they were against the Spanish State.
The only result that has achieved this strategy, to date, has been to create discomfort and encourage secession, among the Catalans, to be considered unjustly attacked, and hatred or rejection, among the rest of Spanish society, to understand others as enemies that attack our integrity.
We also think that an entire autonomous community is criminalized because a group, growing because of the above, is looking for a participation tool such as the referendum, which is normally assumed by other societies with a long democratic tradition.
If democracy has moved from representativity to participation, we must move from fear to freedom.
Our ruling class should work more for integration, make proposals to remain united, and less for prohibition or repression.
We do not share the path taken by the current government team of the Generalitat or by the Spanish government.
The only way is dialogue, which has been absent in recent years in resolving the conflict.
The problems, as we can see, are not solved by looking the other way but facing them.
Finally, we can not forget that patriotism often seeks to hide a more worrying reality, manipulating us with a sterile sentimentality.
If we have to fill our balconies with banners or posters, they could be the rejection of corruption, the contamination consented to the Mar Menor, the problem of non-completion of the train burial on arrival in Murcia, the deception of pharaonic works that have indebted our communities, being closed (airport, auditoriums, ...), the debt of our town hall, the problem of filth of our people, the lack of social housing in Archena, energy poverty, privatization of education , the rate of interim in the classrooms that support our region, the waiting lists in health, the abandonment of dependency, ---
To make Patria, from the group Ganar Archena we propose to go on Saturday at 18:00 hours to the tracks of Murcia, passing through Santiago el Mayor, to demand a solution to the burial of the tracks, so that Murcia is not divided by a wall.
