The full municipal council of Archena yesterday unanimously approved the motion presented by the Popular Group that asked to urge the Government of the Region of Murcia to promote the start-up of a Unit of Pediatric Dysphagia in Arrixaca and that can serve as a reference For the whole of the Region of Murcia, as well as to establish a protocol of action and referral of patients, when necessary.
In the Region Murciana suffer from this disease a large number of children and in Archena, where these days and starting from the City Council was carried out a campaign of collection of signatures to urge the Regional Government to implement this health mechanism.
Likewise, the motion was also approved by the PP referring to the request to the Regional Assembly so that in the drafting of the new Law of Coordination of Local Police, be included in the regulation of weapons and technical means for the Local Police, the use of non-lethal weapons (use of laser), as well as that the Local Police bodies of the Region can be endowed with a long firearm (Rifles).
In this way the City of Archena is constituted as the first local institution in the Region to ask for this police need.
These conditions of fulfillment will suppose a better defense for these bodies without need to use the firearm, as well as the availability of long firearms will mean better preventive controls and to be able to repel more effectively aggressions.
