Archena WWTP treats wastewater from the municipalities belonging to Ricote Valley (Ricote, Ojós, Ulea, Villanueva and Archena - including La Algaida and Balneario).
To the purifier of this last locality the water arrives by means of gravity or pumping of the rest of localities and all go to stop to the current general collector of the municipality, that also collects the waters of the locality.
At the request of the Town Hall of Archena, it was agreed to request the Ministry, through ESAMUR, to undertake a new 1,740 meter 600 mm diameter pipe that will connect with the pipe located in La Morra and end in the general collector of Archena , Operating in gravity and thus discharging the current collector of the municipality that serves all municipalities.
