The president of the Community, Fernando López Miras, inaugurated last night in Archena the new premises of the Local Police of this municipality, where more than thirty agents will be able to carry out their work improving their capacity to respond to an emergency.
"We have to respect and care for those people who, with a vocation of service to others, are willing to put their physical integrity at risk to protect, care and help their neighbors," said Lopez Miras.
The head of the regional Executive stressed the commitment of the Government of Murcia with the municipalities of the Region to improve the public services they provide to citizens and showed their willingness to continue collaborating with them and see culminated objectives such as the inauguration of these new dependencies, which have An investment by the Community of 550,000 euros, more than 90% of the total cost of the work.
"What we do from the institutions is to give them the means and the necessary resources so that they can exercise their job of protecting and caring for citizens in the most efficient way possible," said the regional president.
Archena has a total of 33 policemen .. Ten of these places are financed by the Community through a game of 300,000 euros for 2017 within the Citizen Security Plan.
In addition, for the development of the work carried out by the Local Police of this municipality, the Community has five bikes ceded.
