The Councilor for Social Policy, Angela Gomez, visited the school Micaela Sanz this morning to provide documentation of the municipality of Archena, as this center has been one of the 64 centers selected nationwide to participate in the Program 'Scientific, artistic And literary ', convened by the Ministry of Education, Science and Sport.
The students of this school will be the ambassadors of Archena in the meetings and meetings held by schoolchildren throughout Spain for this reason.
Councilor Gómez teachers and students have explained the activities that will be carried out in the route that will correspond to Archena.
This educational program aims to give continuity to the knowledge received by the students in the classroom, to improve and to present attractive the training received in their centers, through more experimental and visual environments.
The school Micaela Sanz will share their experience with the students of the center Gerardo Diego de Parla (Madrid), making the route Asturias and Cantabria, in the week of May 28 to June 3.
The Councilor explained that "the most important of these exchanges and meetings is to feel proud to be archeneros and transfer our advantages as a people alive and full of history and traditions to other towns and areas of Spain.
Finally, in this same event, the video that these students have made of the most emblematic places of Archena and that will also present in this trip is projected.
