José Javier López Ruiz and Ana Eloyna Castillo López have won the first ever Archena Sprint Rally Championship today, followed by Iván Arenas and Miguel Ángel Lázaro, the latter from the Escudería Automóvil Club de Murcia.
For two days, the first international rally car speed championship was held in La Paira and Parc de la Marquesa, in the archenero municipality, with the participation of pilots from France and Belgium and from various Spanish regions.
Councilors Fulgencio García and José Juan González, together with the President of the Murciana Automobile Federation, Alfonso Castillo, presented the prizes to the winners of this race and recognitions to the rest of the participants, in the gardens of the Museum.
21 cars and drivers from various regions of Spain and France and Belgium have participated in this I Rally Sprint Archena Thermal Paradise, which took place this weekend in the municipality and was organized by the 'Automobile Club Valle de Ricote'.
The races were held on Saturday afternoon, from 3.30 pm to 7.30 pm and Sunday morning, from 10 am to 1.30 pm.
