The mayor of Archena, Patricia Fernández, along with technicians and manager of the Mapeka company, Manuel Pérez, presented this morning at the City Hall the installation in the whole municipality of fiber optics, after the collaboration agreement that was signed with this company To carry it out.
This project also includes the installation in certain public spaces of Wi-Fi so that users who wish can connect for free to the internet.
The first authority has said that "this installation was a priority project of Archena Smart, that is to say, to have connected the whole municipality of Archena. In addition, it is necessary to emphasize the value of creating new jobs with this initiative."
He also commented that "it is a pride that this great project is carried out by companies from our locality and also from the Region of Murcia"
With the installation of optical fiber throughout the municipality, Archena will regain quality, speed and security in its connections and works with the internet.
Although the process will be developed in phases, the goal is for the entire population to be connected by the end of the year.
