The Ministry of Water, Agriculture and the Environment is carrying out the works of renovation of the collectors of the neighborhood of the Other Lao of the municipal term of Archena, whose investment amounts to 211,131 euros.

The director general of the water, Andrés Martínez, accompanied by technicians of the City Council and the Ministry, visited the progress of the works, which began last January and, "are expected to be completed by the end of April and Will allow to expand the capacity of the water flow ".

Renovation works for sanitary sewers and drinking water distribution lines (general and secondary) are carried out on a surface area of ​​520 meters, on both sides of the Avenida Marino Espreàfico, at the access point of the RM- 522 from the A-30 motorway, from its beginning to the old bridge over the Segura river.

The renovation of some 860 meters of sanitary sewer is being carried out, as well as the renovation of some 800 meters of the network of drinking water.

These actions to improve the collectors are part of the objective of the Ministry of Water, Agriculture and Environment to improve and increase the connection of the different urban centers to the purification system included in the II Sanitation and Treatment Plan of the Region of Murcia.
