The Councilor for Social Policy, Angela Gomez, and the Director of Social Services of the City Council, Francisco Coll, inaugurated this morning the program 'Accem Activa'.
It is a program aimed at the socio-labor integration and improvement of the employability of people in situation or risk of social exclusion or with special difficulties.
This program has enrolled 50 people, who will be scholarships, and will be trained in subjects such as 'skills to help social workers in social institutions', which is how the course is called, for 260 hours, 80 to practice and the other 180 for theoretical classes.
The project initiative is designed to help improve the employability of people who find more obstacles to entering the labor market.
Organized by the Archena City Council, it is financed by the European Social Fund, with 80 percent, and co-financed by the Autonomous Community and the IMAS, by 20 percent each of the latter institutions.
The program is being implemented by ACCEM, a non-governmental and non-profit organization that provides care and shelter to people at risk of exclusion, promoting the insertion and equality of rights and duties regardless of origin, sex, race, Religion or social group
