The regional government allocated this course 25.7 million euros for seven new schools, new institutes and educational facilities in several municipalities

Pedro Antonio Sánchez made these statements during the inauguration of this new center, which replaces the previous one and has capacity for 675 students.
At present, 405 students are enrolled.

The regional government is targeting 25.7 million euros for seven new schools in Murcia, Cartagena, Lorca, Jumilla, Pliego, Los Alcazares and Lorquí, as well as new institutes and educational facilities in Alcantarilla, Cartagena and Lorca.
Characteristics of the new school
This center, which replaces the current one of the same name and is located in the place where it was until its demolition the old institute Vicente Medina, has more than 5,000 square meters of facilities, with capacity for three educational lines.
The new CEIP will have three lines (9 classrooms for Children and 18 for Primary) and capacity for 675 students.
At present there are 405 students enrolled (144 of Children and 261 of Primary) and two lines per course.
It is a bilingual center and has 31 professors in staff.
The building has a 'V' shape and three floors high, with another block for a gym.
In addition, it has dining room, two sports courts and recreational spaces.
