A hundred people, mainly women, came this morning to the Popular March against Gender Violence, which started from the doors of the Archena Museum, on the Segura River avenue, to the Plaza de España, where the dependencies of the townhall.
Here, at 12.00 noon, the same number of women, who have been joined by officials and workers of the City Council, have heard the official Manifesto against the Machista Violence, which has read at the door of the Consistory the Mayoress of Archena, Patricia Fernández.
The first local authority has been accompanied by Councilors of the Municipal Government Team and responsible for the CAVI (Center for Women Victims of Gender Violence) Archena.
This is the penultimate of the events that have been scheduled during this week on the occasion of the commemoration, today, November 25, International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women.
Tomorrow, at 6:00 p.m., in the Plaza de Mayo, there will be a tribute to the victims of macho violence.
