The Mayor of Murcia, Patricia Fernandez, and school officials agreed Archena 'The Ope' presented this morning the First National Short Story Award Lorenzo Silva, organized by the school and the city of Archena.
The contest is sponsored by Cajamar publisher Anaya and all young residents can participate in national territory aged between 12 and 18 years.
Mayor during the presentation highlighted "the importance of the events organized this school. Previously, with the sports Olympics, and now with this literary contest, which make the municipality of Archena again be a national reference, before sports and now culturally. "
He also encouraged all young people to participate in this "so interesting and attractive literary prize.
For the organizers, this contest should serve "as a bridge to literary creativity and the development of literary competence of young people".
According to the rules presented, the story should be 5 and maximum of 15 pages, in Spanish, computer and body Arial 12 point minimum.
The prizes are: 1. an iPhone 6s;
2. iPad Air 2 and third prize an eBook touch.
The award is named after Lorenzo Silva, writer and his work spans many genres, from poetry to trial, through the novel and newspaper articles.
Among other awards won by his works include the Nadal Prize and Planet Spring 2012
