The president of the Community, Pedro Antonio Sanchez, met today at the Palacio de San Esteban with the Mayor of Murcia, Patricia Fernandez, with whom he discussed various issues of interest to the municipality related to educational infrastructure, public safety or building a new bridge over the river Segura.
In education, the President informed the mayor of Archena dela completion of work on the new College of Education and Primary 'Miguel Medina', in which the Community has made an investment of 3.7 million euros.
Currently it is working out the record for the award of furniture.
Similarly, also they completed work on the new center of the local police of the municipality.
Now they both administracionestrabajarán together for equipment and operation.
Another issue discussed during the meeting was the construction of a new iron bridge over the River Segura in the RM-554 road for which there is already a provision in the budgets of the Community.
The regional government's goal is that this infrastructure is operational before the end of this legislature.
