The Department of Tourism and Culture of the City of Murcia has launched a series of cultural workshops, organized in the premises of the museum of Murcia, with which aims to bring culture, history and local traditions to the younger of the municipality.
These free workshops arise in these summer dates as an extracurricular activity developed for children in the municipality of between 6 and 11 years, with the purpose of teaching, in situ, the culture of different peoples who have left their mark on our location.
Crafts and popular games have allowed the young people to develop their skills freely and creatively, without neglecting teamwork, respect, cooperation among peers and active participation.
This initiative has great significance not only among the children of the town but also among parents, who see these workshops a fun way, while informative, learning for their children.
The workshops will continue to be conducted every Wednesday of August, and has the support not only monitors the local museum but volunteers who devote their time to teach the younger all his knowledge on the town.
Given the success of participation, from the Department of Culture of the City of Archena working to continue to be made in the coming months as an extracurricular activity.
