The Institute of Development and the City of Murcia has developed a plan of entrepreneurship, especially focused on training, to encourage entrepreneurship and help the consolidation of SMEs and small retail businesses in the municipality.

The implementation of this plan is one of the issues discussed today by the director of Info, Javier Celdrán, and the mayor of the town, Patricia Fernandez, who held a working meeting to analyze the actions carried out in the first half of the year Entrepreneur within the municipality, which Archena joined in 2013, and propose new measures to enhance training and self-employment agreement.

After the meeting, the director of Info recalled that such actions are an example of coordination between administrations with the common aim of boosting the regional economy and contribute to the creation of new employment opportunities.

"The Entrepreneur Municipality agreement is a tool that allows us to strengthen collaboration with local authorities, which are those with a deeper understanding of the needs of its citizens knowledge, so we can design plans and more efficient specific measures that contribute to local development and therefore, regional development, "said Javier Celdrán.

In this case, this plan puts special emphasis on training and advice for the creation and consolidation of SMEs in the municipality, which addresses both entrepreneurs who want to start a new business and those who have already launched your business idea.

Thus, it is planned to hold courses, workshops and information days on the steps and procedures necessary to implement a project, developing a feasibility plan, how to seek aid or subsidies or how to deal with, if necessary, an innovation process or internationalization.

The municipality is finalizing the construction and commissioning of a business incubator, oriented to the field of medicine and health, which will become a hotbed of entrepreneurship in the municipality.

"This infrastructure will support, services and advice to those young Archena who want to launch a business project and allow them to benefit from a working space at zero cost and with all the services needed to start business, in addition to be a collaborative space where coexistence among entrepreneurs generate synergies and encourage the exchange of knowledge and experience, "said the director of info.

After the meeting, they visited the facilities of Panarro Foods, a company specialized in the production of juices and other organic food, which has a presence in European markets, North Africa, America and Oceania power sector.
