The Mayor of Murcia, Patricia Fernandez and Jose Juan Gonzalez Aldermen and Andrés Luna, along with municipal technicians, visited the remodeling and improvement being made on the premises of the municipal food market a few weeks ago.
Fernandez, after the visit and after dealing with municipal officials of these works, said that going apace and that deadlines for completion, which is scheduled to be in a few days be fulfilled.
The remodeling of the food market has been made worth more than 43,000 euros.
The works consisted, among the most important in changing the 15 existing sodium vapor lights in LED system and install another 16 emergency luminaires on the same system.
It has also changed the skylight inside a translucent plate and renewed the pavement, measuring 876 square meters, by one of aliphatic polyurethane and other small maintenance jobs.
The food market is a landmark building in Archena built in 1952.
