The Minister of Family and Equal Opportunities, Thomas Violante signed today with the Mayor of Murcia, Patricia Fernandez, an agreement for the early treatment of children with developmental problems in the municipality, amounting to 40,358 euros.
This center is formed by an interdisciplinary team of psychologists, speech therapists and physiotherapists.
Among others, provide diagnostic services, stimulation, physiotherapy, speech therapy, psychomotor skills, information and family counseling.
According to Thomas Violante, "from the regional government we have a special interest in offering a service Early Intervention in all municipalities, as it is essential to promote and strengthen the further development of the child".
The Community earmarked 4.5 million euros to Early Care, which provides care for 3,700 children with disorders or risk of suffering, and their families.
