Archena Museum has been the setting for the presentation of Lorenzo Silva Brief Narrative Prize, for young people between 12 and 18 years of age and regional level.
The Ope organized by the College and the City of Murcia.
The event, which was attended by a large audience, was chaired by the General Director of Educational Centers, Maria Dolores Valcárcel, accompanied by the Councillor for Education of the City of Murcia, Mario Alcaraz, the headmistress the Ope, Antonia Ramirez, professor of literature school, Maria Consuelo Gómez, and the author and star of the night, Lorenzo Silva Amador, who expressed his gratitude and pride that this literary prize bearing his name.
The award comes as an idea from the Department of Language and Literature ESO Colegio El Ope, to encourage literature among young people, encourage reading and creativity.
Lorenzo Silva is a Spaniard whose literary career began in the '90s children's writer, juvenile and specialist in crime fiction, was a finalist for the Nadal Prize with his work the weakness of the Bolshevik (filmed), and winner of this prestigious award in the 2000, for the impatient Alchemist.
The final recognition came with getting the Planet Award 2012 with his novel, The mark of the meridian.
It has now returned to the novel of love with his latest release Music ugly.
