El Ope College has hosted the presentation of the third edition of the 'Rise to the Ope Trail' which takes place on Saturday, March 6, from 10.00, and will feature two tests 7 and 14 kilometers.
The route is a mixed path with asphalt and dirt road, with the ascent of Mount Ope emblematic symbol hill and Archena.
Departure will be from the school's Ope.
It has also been presented this morning the same day, but at 12.00 hours, the III Carrera Children of organizing school, with five tests of which two will be competitive in juvenile and child category, being the other three for categories Benjamins.
The main objective pursued, according to organizers, is to promote the sport among students.
All participants will be treated to gifts, shirts and a sports bag.
For this celebration, it has had the collaboration of Balneario de Archena, Cajamar, Town Hall and other entities such as the diaario La Opinion de Murcia.
Both the organizers and the Mayor Patricia Fernandez, who also attended the presentation of this race have agreed in their statements that it is essential to further promote the sport in school and that Archena is again the protagonist of a regional sporting event with the assistance of Olympic athletes of international stature, as bragados Garcia, Miguel Lopez.
