| "With the new canteen we have managed to ensure that all schools have this service" assures the Mayor | The Mayor of Archena and the Minister of Education of the Region of Murcia have communicated this morning to the Emilio Candel public school that the school will have a dining room service next year.

According to Minister Esperanza Moreno, if the execution deadlines are met, "the contracting of the works will be carried out before the end of the year." The Emilio Candel public school, located on Nuestro Padre Jesús street, and which has 225 students enrolled, will include this dining room service in its facilities, which will involve an investment of more than 48,000 euros by the Autonomous Community. Patricia Fernández, Mayor of Archena, declared that "we comply with an important demand from parents and, in this way, we facilitate the reconciliation of family and work life." The area for the dining room has an area of ??95 square meters, including a pantry, kitchen, waste management and the dining room itself, which will have 58 square meters, enough to accommodate 48 diners. "On the other hand, I want to emphasize that with the launch of this school cafeteria in the Emilio Candel, all the schools in the municipality will have this service that is so demanded by families," the Mayor finally assured.
