| The mayor of Archena promotes a new awareness campaign with all sectors of the population to stop the contagion of coronavirus | Patricia Fernández, Mayor of Archena, has brought together the main sectors of the municipality involved in the fight against COVID to call for the commitment of the population to comply with the anti-COVID regulations.
Health, local police, shops, hotels and educational centers have joined this campaign through the recording of a video where they have expressed the sacrifices they are making on a daily basis, risking their own lives and the difficulties they are encountering to carry out their work as a consequence of the irresponsibility carried out by part of the population. All the sectors affected have stated that "thousands of jobs are at stake, if we follow this line we will be forced to close our businesses.
Therefore, we request the help and commitment of all citizens to control the health situation and continue with the economic activity of the municipality ". Patricia Fernández, was concerned about the current situation and explained the reasons for the launch of this new campaign: "We are in a very difficult situation due to the increase in infections derived from irresponsible actions.
We are talking about quarantine breaches, parents who take their Children to class with symptoms related to the coronavirus and private parties.
It is vitally important to comply with the rules.
Therefore, now more than ever we need everyone's commitment.
" The First Municipal Authority has encouraged all the associations and groups of the municipality to join the campaign by uploading photos with a "C" drawn in the palm of the hand and the hashtag #NecesimosTuCompromiso.
"Schools, cultural associations, businesses and companies in the municipality are already joining the campaign and we encourage the entire Region and the country to join this initiative against COVID."
