| The Mayor affirms that "we bet once again on the improvement of the culture of Archena by providing our municipality with more spaces modern "| The Municipal Public Library 'Mari Carmen Campoy' has reopened its doors, after a major remodeling, with new equipment and services, following all the Covid-19 security protocols established by current Public Libraries regulations. The Mayor of Archena, Patricia Fernández López, together with the Councilor for Culture, Anselmo Campuzano Fernández, have visited the Library to supervise all the improvements and new services it offers to its users. "This important investment represents a change in the 'Ramón Centenero' cultural center, betting once again on improving the culture of Archena by providing our municipality with more modern spaces," says the Mayor of Archena, Patricia Fernández. The remodeling has consisted of a change in the entire building's luminaire, which has been replaced by LED lighting, seeking greater energy efficiency, investing in caring for the environment and saving on consumption.
In addition, the infrastructures have been improved and new air conditioning equipment has been incorporated into the library. The Municipal Library of Archena, one of the oldest in the Region, has after this reopening, with bibliographic news and an expansion of the local collection, open since last September 1, it offers a longer schedule from Monday to Friday 9:30 am- 1:30 pm and 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm in order to provide a greater service to its users.
