| The Local Police continues to do an exhaustive control of all people with positive PCR in the town | The Local Police of Archena has intensified during the weekend the controls to the places of leisure as well as to the population in general, to verify the fulfillment of the current regulation of prevention and security against the Covid-19.
In this sense, and according to police sources, it has filed almost fifty sanctions during the weekend for non-compliance with the coronavirus prevention and containment measures approved by the Regional Government. The sanctions imposed have been, for the most part, for not wearing a mask or for its incorrect use, as well as for holding meetings of more than six people, consuming alcohol on public roads or for non-compliance with business closing hours. The mayor of Archena, Patricia Fernández, has communicated that "the Local Police of Archena is doing an important job of controlling all the people who have to quarantine in their homes, and it is multiplying to reach all homes daily with positive PCR ". In this same sense, Patricia Fernández López has declared that "we are going to continue to apply the Law forcefully, and we are not going to allow the unruly and irresponsible behavior of a few to put the health of all Archeneros and Archeneras at risk".
