| The Local Police visit 100% of homes with active cases to control quarantines | The mayor of Archena, Patricia Fernández, has launched a 'preventive voluntary isolation' as a measure in the fight against COVID19 in the municipality.
Given the latest worrying data on infections in the municipality, and especially in the district of La Algaida, the mayor has appealed to the responsibility of the neighbors when limiting the exits from their homes to what is strictly necessary: ??"I want to thank the behavior exemplary of our neighbors who, aware of the problem, have drastically reduced their exits to avoid forced confinement, which would be a health and economic problem for the municipality.
" The Local Police and the coordinator of the Archena Health Center have visited all the homes of the quarantined people to check their situation first-hand and offer their services for any need that may arise.
"The vast majority are rigorously complying with the quarantine but we continue to find alarming cases.
The last, a PCR + person outside her home, whom the Police have identified and for which I have proposed a sanction of € 3,001", declares the first. With this type of measure, the mayor of Archena intends to continue containing the advance of the virus without the need to paralyze economic activity: "we not only work on preventive plans by carrying out tests and traces, we also have contingency plans with this formula to avoid confinements with irreversible damage to the local economy " From the mayor's office, Patricia Fernández concludes, with an optimistic message: "I am sure that with this behavior of which the vast majority of residents of the municipality are setting an example, the situation will improve in the coming days."
