Following the statement from the Archena City Council about the closure of the La Algaida Medical Clinic due to "pressure, coercion and threats" from "a small group of neighbors" to the health center, according to the official statement of the consistory, from the PSOE de Archena we want to condemn any aggressive and uncivil behavior that may have negatively influenced the normal development of health care for residents of the district.From the PSOE of Archena we also want to emphasize, in addition to the condemnation of inappropriate attitudes, that the bad actions of a few cannot harm the almost three thousand five hundred inhabitants of the population.

And if the accusations are true, and have proof of this, action is taken to promote the common good or the Government Team will be falling into mere defamation without providing a solution to keep the office open.In addition, we must insist on covering the minimum technical and human resources of the center that, now in summer, with vacations or sick leave that may occur, must serve users without palliative.

In addition, taking into account the consequent inconvenience for the elderly population of the district in this context of Covid-19.On the other hand, we also want to express the lack of transparency that the Archena City Council has had with this municipal group, which on July 27 already asked in writing about the situation, referring us to the Health Department of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia.

And we declare that we will inform this Ministry of what happened and we will demand more resources so that the City Council of La Algaida functions in perfect conditions and thus avoid greater evils, such as those produced on these dates.
