The Mayor Patricia Fernández meets with all the owners of the nightlife venues in the town to bring them the latest legislative developments that have come into force today. The Mayor of Archena, and the Head of the Local Police, José Velasco Lucas, held a meeting this morning with all the owners of nightlife venues in the municipality, to inform them, first hand, of the legislative developments published on the day Today by the Regional Government that greatly limit the hours and capacity of this type of establishment, and impose high penalties on owners and clients who fail to comply with them. In said meeting, the mayor has stated that the Archena Local Police "is going to put in place a special device so that each and every one of the current regulations is fully complied with and thus avoid outbreaks in our municipality" .
Likewise, the First Municipal Authority has conveyed to the representatives of the premises that "the fight against the coronavirus is everyone's job and for this their responsibility and collaboration is essential". With the publication in the BORM from today, the activity of the discotheques inside the premises is suspended, and they can only carry out their activity on terraces or open spaces in the open air, regardless of the time in which the activity takes place.
Pubs, cocktail bars or nightlife establishments may carry out their activity inside the premises or closed spaces, until a maximum of 22:00.
After this time, the activity must also be carried out on terraces or open spaces outdoors. The more than twenty managers of nightclubs in Archena present at the meeting have thanked the mayor of Archena for this information and have expressed their position to collaborate with each and every one of these measures to maintain the necessary activity of their premises and avoid infections or outbreaks of this pandemic in the municipality.
