The Mayor Patricia Fernández has highlighted the main measures that the City Council has implemented that are included in this emergency plan, such as the free distribution to the entire population of 70,000 masks, the 100% discount on the rate of water and garbage while the state of alarm and the occupation of public roads lasts for the whole year 2020 to the hospitality sector. Industrial aid and the construction sector are also included in said plan with significant bonuses to another sector with which the local administration is also going to dump throughout the year 2020. The reactivation plan approved this morning by the full council also includes a psychological recovery program with outdoor activities and the creation of a comprehensive Municipal Volunteer Program, among others. Another important point of this plenary session has been the approval of the credit modification to attend extraordinary expenses generated by this crisis.
