| "The signing of this agreement with 'Creamur' will be a great opportunity for the hospitality sector of our city", stated the First Municipal Authority | Mayor Patricia Fernández signs an agreement with the company 'Creamur Publicidad' so that businesses and companies in Archena benefit from a 25% discount on the acquisition of this type of protection barrier. What will be the future of small businesses and hotels in Spain? That is the great question that is being asked, today, by a multitude of entrepreneurs and merchants who have dedicated their lives and their savings, in businesses that, today, still do not know when they will be able to raise their blinds and start working.
Despite this, and although the Government of Spain has not yet begun to lift restrictions on the hospitality sector, once again, the Mayor of Archena has wanted to anticipate the future of the more than one hundred bars and restaurants in the municipality, one of the large local economic sectors, and has signed an agreement by which Archena companies that agree to invest in protective screens to separate diners in bars and restaurants and benefit from a 25% discount on the price,measure that joins the suppression of the rates of occupation of public roads to this type of establishments for the financial year 2020, as well as the 30% discount in the 2 years following the crisis. "We have been concerned for weeks about the serious economic crisis caused by the coronavirus pandemic, and I am especially concerned about the future of the commercial and hospitality sector in our town, since it is one of the fundamental pillars of our economy, and therefore we want our shops, bars and restaurants to be prepared so that when the confinement is lifted we can present the best security guarantee to neighbors and customers to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, "said Mayor Patricia Fernández. The First Municipal Authority has also stated that "we will continue to study new measures for the commercial and business sector of our municipality, so that local economic activity is reactivated as soon as possible." This new economic and job creation measure is added to the more than fifty measures already implemented by the Local Government Team to boost the municipality's economy.
