The initiative of the Solidarity Pantry "Archena te Cuida", launched by Patricia Fernández, is proving to be a success in every way.
"The enormous amount of donations from companies and individuals is allowing us to reach a large number of families affected by the crisis caused by the coronavirus," thus showing the mayor of Archena her satisfaction.
The Government Team was also present in the organization and distribution tasks, with Patricia Fernández at the head.
The coordinator of the service, Carmen Pascual, stated that: "having the mayor and councilors unloading, organizing and distributing food on the front line, demonstrates the involvement and commitment of this City Council in the COVID-19 crisis."
Families who need help should contact the Social Services department by phone 968 - 670 152, where a report will be issued prior to the collection of food.
Patricia Fernández highlighted, in this way, the great work of all the social workers of the City Council in continuous contact with other solidarity entities: "our intention is to cover the needs of all the neighbors with difficulties, therefore, there is excellent coordination with the Red Cross and Caritas to offer a service that is as efficient and comprehensive as possible.
