The mayor of Archena, Patricia Fernández, decided this morning to launch a Special Volunteer Plan to help all those people who cannot leave their homes for reasons both due to the legal obligation not to leave the home to prevent infection of the coronavirus as well as due to physical problems that prevent it from supplying basic pharmaceutical products.
The first municipal councilor of Archena has adopted this decision after the decree of the Murcian Regional Government to close by obligation all establishments in the Murcian community, except pharmacies, gas stations and food shops.
From these moments, he appeals to all the citizens of Archena so that those who wish can collaborate with these people by becoming volunteers.
"This question is designed to prevent the spread of the coronavirus in this very vulnerable sector of the population," confirmed Patricia Fernández.
All those interested in being part of that Archena Special Volunteer Plan have to call the phone (enabled for this occasion): 626 239 333 leaving their name and surname and ID.
The Mayor requests through this information note the solidarity of the residents of Archena to help these people in need.
