The Councilor for Finance, Antonio José Palazón, accompanied by the Councilor for Urban Planning and Industry, Pedro José Ríos, have met with suppliers of the City Council of Archena and local businessmen to inform them of the local economic situation, as well as the latest developments in the plan of payment to suppliers of our City Council.
Councilor Palazón said that "our town hall has a special taxpayer payment plan, which allows fractionations and deferrals of payments."
Within that special payment plan, "taxpayers have the possibility of deferring payments, in the same year, without interest," he also told them.
Regarding the special plan for payment to suppliers, the mayor of the Treasury said that the Government Team, headed by Mayor Patricia Fernández, has set itself the objective "to reduce the average period of payment to suppliers to less than 20 days, very below the regional and national average. "
This has been one of the main novelties exposed by these councilors.
Finally, both councilors have shown the good economic management carried out so far by the Archenero Municipal Government Team and have stressed that their goal is that "payment to suppliers is 'practically' in cash, reducing it below the 20 days".
They also stressed that logically, these suppliers will be required to submit invoices in a timely manner, detailing the specific work performed and the adjusted prices.
