Antonio Fernández, of the Reyes Reyes Catolicos, and Iván Verdú, of the Kábila Mudéjares, were elected last night Festero of the Year and Festero of the Children's Year, respectively, in the first gala of the Half Year Festero, which Moors and Christians of Corpus de Archena celebrate this weekend.

After the election of partiers of the year, we proceeded to discover the drawing that will illustrate the poster of the next parties of 2020, which were made by the Councilor of Festivities and the president of the central board, Miguel Lloret.
This is the painting 'Parade and stop' by Felicidad Ibáńez, which was the first drawing prize of these Mid-Year holidays.
The first children's prize went to María Dolores Alcolea and the second prize of this category went to the infant Elena Navarro, with her drawing 'Archena, many centuries of history', of the Black Scorpions Royal Squadron of the Rif de la Kábila Al-Hammamat.
The second prize of the adult drawings went to Ana María Camacho, for her work 'Luna' and will be the painting that will illustrate the poster of the 2021 Mid-Year Festival.
The event ended with a representation of the Embassy of the Puebla Charter, which is held every year on the last day of the festivities in the Plaza de Juan Pablo II, by the Christian Ambassadors, Alex Guillén (Almogávares Mesnada), and Moor, Agustín Martínez (kábila Al-hammamat).
The celebrations of the Middle Year Festero (Ecuador of the patron saint festivities) continue today with parades and medieval dinner and tomorrow, Sunday, with another festive parades and coexistence meal of all the groups in Summer Cinema.
The patron and Moors and Christians festivities are celebrated in honor of Corpus Christi and Virgin of Health in June.
