Patricia Fernández, mayor of Archena, and Diego Calvo, president of the Triathlon regional federation, together with the local triathlon president, Daniel Palazón, organizer of the event, presented the V edition of the Duathlon Regional Championship this morning by the City Council Villa de Archena equipment, which will take place this Saturday in the municipality.
This test will have two levels: Elite Category, which is the one that competes for the regional championship, in both male and female categories and open category, which is open to the entire amateur triathlon team that wants to register.
Teams composed of 6 athletes can participate.
The development of the test will be as follows:
5 km on foot, 20 km by bike and 2.5 km on foot.

The exit and goal will be located in the soccer field of the Municipal Sports Center.
It is expected that about 90 teams from Albacete, Alicante, Almería and of course almost all points in the Region of Murcia will participate
