The Mayor of Archena, Patricia Fernández López, councilors of the Municipal Government Team and the Pastor of San Juan, Alfonso Alburquerque, inaugurated last night the monumental municipal nativity scene, which is located in the new Christmas Corner, located in the natural environment of the Garden of Villa Rías.
A thousand people attended this act, despite the cold winter.
La Rondalla and the Choir of the Social Center for Older People livened up this inauguration with their traditional Christmas carols.
The nativity scene is made up of some 2,000 artisanal figures and a hundred real estate of the time, some of them more current from Archena, such as the hermitage-sanctuary of the Spa and the castle of Don Mario ..
Its installation and ornamentation has been prepared by users of the Llano del Barco Day Center, coordinated by Magdala Lola, therapist of this center, who also helped municipal operators.
The whole of the nativity scene occupies an area of ​​300 square meters and is located in the natural surroundings of the Villa Rías gardens.
The nativity scene is part of the Christmas Corner which also has the Santa Claus House, the Royal Postman and other children's and Christmas attractions.
