The Mayor of Archena, Patricia Fernández, and the Councilor for Sports, Fulgencio García, have presented at the Business Nursery the XII edition of the popular race of San Silvestre, which will take place on the evening of New Year's Eve.
The Mayor has assured that, according to the specialized media, this massive sporting event of Archena is already more than consolidated by its participation and popular reference in the entire Murcian community.
Minutes before this act, Mayor and councilor have given the organizers of the race the appropriate attire for this sporting occasion.
It is expected that more than 600 participants from all parts of the Region will participate this year.
The race will begin at 16 hours from the 1º de Mayo square and will have a 6-kilometer journey through the town center.
The smallest and later children, fry and youth and absolute will begin.
The corridors will arrive from almost all the points of the Region of Murcia and other towns of neighboring provinces.
The Mayor of Archena, Patricia Fernández López, will kick off the different categories of runners and on some occasions she will be helped by councilors of the Municipal Government Team, who will also collaborate with the first governor in the delivery of trophies and gifts at the end pm.
The prizes will be gifts donated by the more than 50 companies that will collaborate in this popular sports competition.
The best and most original costumes that participants wear will also have prizes and distinctions.
