The Mayor of Archena, Patricia Fernández, and the Councilor for Festivities, Anselmo Campuzano, have this afternoon kicked off the Archena Christmas Programming with the Official Lighting of Lights at the City Hall door.
From the town hall balcony, the first municipal authority, along with the other councilors of the Government Team and the figures dressed as Disney characters have welcomed Christmas to more than 2,000 children, then there has been the lighting of Christmas lights and a small castle of fireworks and the soloist of Frozen has sung songs of this musical.
The facade of the Town Hall has also been adorned with more than 200 pascueros.
There are more than 10,000 light bulbs that illuminate the more than 20 streets and squares of the municipality since tonight, of which 3,000 are located in the two squares of the City Hall and 2,000 in what will be the Christmas Enclosure.
With this act the extensive program of Archenera Christmas has begun, which begins tonight and will end on January 5, and which consists of more than fifty acts and activities.
Among them, the installation of the Christmas monographic area stands out, where the Santa Claus house, the reception of the Royal Postman, a craft market and the wide Municipal Bethlehem will be located.
This enclosure will occupy the entire surface of the Villa Rías Garden.
The program also includes the Santa Claus Parade, this year with more participation than the last edition.
The AMPAs of the seven primary schools of the municipality, students of the School of Music and comparsas of Archena and other populations will also participate in this parade.
The parades of the Magi of La Algaida and Archena, the Frozen musical and the Christmas Concert of the Santa Cecilia Musical Group, are also other acts to highlight for this Christmas
