The re-elected president of the Cabildo Superior de Cofradías de Semana Santa de Archena, Juan José Ruiz, has informed the Mayor of Archena, Patricia Fernández, of her re-election as such for another new term, as well as what will be the new positions before 2020. The official preacher of the next edition will be the TV presenter, Encarna Talavera, and the Nazarene of the year, which has fallen to the Holy Cross Music Band Cruz de los Espejos.
The president has also informed the Mayor that the Pregonera del Ángel (young brothers) will be done by Noelia Morales, of the Brotherhood of Christ of the Agony.
Reelected unanimously, Juan José Ruiz, is 34 years old.
He is a lawyer and businessman.
He currently chairs the Brotherhood of Our Lady of Consuelo and Holy Women of Jerusalem, of which he co-founded.
Nazarene since the 4 years of the Royal Brotherhood of Cristo del Perdón.
Preside the Cabildo since 2016.
As for the Pregonera Encarna Talavera, she was born in Archena and since she was a child she has participated in Archenera Holy Week.
She was part of the Brotherhood of Our Father Jesus for more than 10 years. She currently develops her professional facet on 7 TV, where she is Director of Broadcasts and Special Programs.
It is one of the voices of the Holy Week processions in the Regional Television 7 Region of Murcia and every year it travels through the regional geography broadcasting the Major Week from different locations.
