The Mayor of Archena, Patricia Fernández, and the Councilor for Equality, Maria José Guillén, presented this morning in the halls of the Archena Museum, the events that are going to be held from today on the occasion of the Week Against Violence of Gender, which will run until November 25 with the reading of the institutional manifesto, which will read in the Town Hall Square, the first local authority.
The act has also served to present the video that has made techniques of this Department on this issue and that is starring actresses and amateur actors, with the aim of raising public awareness about this social scourge.
It will be disseminated through the municipal social networks, it lasts 4 minutes and the realization was carried out by the audiovisual company Actualízate-Studio.
During the week there will be workshops for schoolchildren and young people, as well as self-defense.
Also talks, theater, round tables and police coordination against gender violence, among many other activities.
Likewise, they have explained that the Archena trade will exhibit during these days in their establishments the distinctive link against gender violence and Archena sports teams will also wear bracelets with this motive in all their competitions.
