Unique show the one offered last night by the 9 canine units of the Association of Canine Guides, and of the Local Police of the towns of Puente Genil, Loja, Jódar, Fortuna, the Towers of Cotillas, Lorca, Águilas and Archena.
This last town that has become for a few hours in the national capital of the police dog exhibition in its first edition and that brought together almost 500 people outside the former Miguel Medina school.
He was chaired by the Mayor of Archena, Patricia Fernández, and the Chief Sergeant of the Local Police of Archena, José Velasco.
Councilors and important positions of the Civil Guard, National Police and Local Police chiefs of other populations, also attended this event.
The exhibition itself, coordinated by the Archena Police, Daniel Camacho, consisted of acts of obedience, search and detection of substances, rescue of persons and an exercise of defense and protection. 10 canine units participated with their respective dogs, of breeds such as German shepherd, Belgian shepherd, border collie, labrador, Spanish water dog and an English springer spaniel, the dog breed of the archenera unit, Odin, which was presented in this exhibition to the local public.
After this demonstration of police dogs, those responsible for the different canine units received distinctions for their participation from the Mayor and the Chief of Police of Archena.
The event ended with the national anthem and the raising of the flag of Spain that was carried out by one of the police dogs involved
